
Genetic Testing
Genetic testing in pregnancy serves several important purposes. Its primary goal is to provide information about the health of the fetus and identify the risk of certain genetic condition, thereby aiding informed decision-making.

Laboratory
All MBCHC clinic locations offer on-site Laboratory services that assist providers in evaluating a patient's health, diagnosing conditions, monitoring ongoing treatments, and screening for diseases. MBCHC’s laboratory staff provides services for pediatric and adult patients. External laboratories interface with MBCHC’s electronic health record so your results are received in a timely manner.

Language Assistance
MBCHC provides language assistance services to help patients with limited English proficiency (LEP), or those who are deaf or hard of hearing, to communicate effectively with health care providers. The goal is to ensure all patients receive equitable, safe, and high-quality care, regardless of language barriers.

Marketplace Insurance (Obamacare)
The Health Insurance Marketplace has many different Insurance options. We will assist the patient in choosing the correct insurance that meets their needs and lifestyles of them and their families.
Public Benefits Eligibility and Application Assistance
There are many different Public Assistance programs with different eligibility criteria. We are able to assist in finding those that will give you the most benefits.

Referrals
Primary care doctors are only able to do so much. With the help of specialist, they are able to better plan the next step of your care. To see a specialist, you need a written order provided by your provider.

Substance Use Disorder
A Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program is a structured set of services and interventions designed to prevent, identify, treat, and support recovery from substance use disorders. MBCHC’s SUD program is a comprehensive, evidence-based health care initiative that provides medical, psychological, and social support to individuals who are using alcohol, prescription drugs, or illicit substances in a way that negatively affects their health, relationships, or functioning.

Transportation
Accessibility to your health care is important. We provide transportation for our patients during business hours to and from our different facilities and to and from your home.
Medical Education
Medical education is the structured training and learning processes that prepare individuals to become competent health care professionals—primarily physicians, but also nurses, physician assistants, and other allied health workers. Miami Beach Community Health Center serves as a training site for undergraduate and graduate medical education. MBCHC’s medical education program has affiliations with medical, nursing, and physician assistant programs in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
