Miami Beach Community Health Center, Inc. (MBCHC) is a full-service outpatient medical clinic which has been providing health care in Miami-Dade County since 1977. Our mission is to provide our patients with a patient-centered medical home with high quality, affordable primary health care and specialty services, chronic disease management, and support services.

MBCHC has three locations (two on Miami Beach and one in North Miami) providing one-stop, convenient access to an array of primary and specialty medical services; on-site laboratories and pharmacies; and assistance with applying for Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP (food stamps), and health insurance through the Affordable Care Act “Obamacare”). Our pharmacies have preferential pricing and free medication is available for patients through various patient assistance programs for those who qualify. Prescription delivery is available at no charge. Free transportation to and from health center appointments is available as well as language assistance for those who require it.

MBCHC is Joint Commission accredited for ambulatory care and laboratory services and certified as a Primary Care Medical Home. The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has certified MBCHC at the highest level as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. In 2021 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded MBCHC National Quality Leader status for ranking in the top 1-2% nationally of all health centers in the clinical quality measures that promote heart health.

We believe that the community of Miami Beach and all of Miami-Dade County has the right to accessible high-quality health care regardless of gender, race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, political beliefs, marital status, age, sexual orientation, social, financial and family background, linguistic preference, or disability. In 2021 MBCHC provided services to 58,506 unique patients of whom 25.27% were covered by Medicaid or other public insurance, 39.36% were uninsured, and 97% had incomes 200% or less of the Federal Poverty Level. All patients receive the same high quality health care and no one is ever turned away because of their inability to pay for services.
